Join ASML’s Customer Support Central Service Organization: CS BPM Standardization Internship

The CS BPM Standardization team is part of ASML’s Customer Support Central Service organization. Within the CS Business Process Management (BPM) team, we aim to ensure clear processes that are consistently followed across regions. Our team focuses on process standardization by analyzing work instructions, benchmarking practices across sites, and driving improvements. This internship will help design a practical approach to measure and improve process adherence within our BPM framework.

Your assignment

You will work closely with the CS BPM Standardization team to understand process adherence and design a framework to measure and improve it. This internship offers the opportunity to gain deep knowledge of BPM and contribute to global process standardization.

  • Build and maintain a network of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead activities to create a practical approach for process adherence.
  • Research and share insights on process adherence within the CS BPM team.
  • Design a process adherence framework and strategy, including measurement methods.
  • Identify challenges and gaps in process adherence and provide recommendations.
  • Understand BPM levels (L1–L5) and their interconnections.
  • Execute incremental improvements using effective task management principles.

This is a bachelor or master’s internship for a minimum of 5 months, 4/5 days per week (hybrid). The start date of this internship is February or March 2026.

Your profile

To be suitable for the internship, you:

  • Are enrolled in a bachelor or master in innovation management, supply chain management, strategic management, business administration, industrial engineering or a related field.
  • Have knowledge of business process management and process mapping (e.g., flowcharts, swimlane diagrams, BPMN).
  • Are familiar with Microsoft tools and SharePoint.
  • Are proactive, analytical, and able to work independently while collaborating in a multicultural team.
  • Communicate clearly and show ownership in driving results.

Other requirements you need to meet:

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship.
  • Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular.
  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
  • If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
