Help shape decisions that define the future of the semiconductor industry. ASML’s Strategic Decision Support (SDS) team supports the Board of Management and Executive Committee with high-impact, cross-company decisions using advanced decision science and structured dialogue. As an intern, you will contribute to projects that influence ASML’s global strategy in a dynamic, innovative environment. This internship offers exposure to C-level decision-making and the chance to learn from experienced professionals.

Your assignment

You will work on strategic projects that address ASML’s most complex challenges, combining analytical thinking with creativity to deliver insights that matter. Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Support the structuring and execution of strategic decision projects
  • Conduct research and gather data from multiple sources
  • Build and analyze quantitative models for scenario planning and risk assessment
  • Prepare presentations for senior management decisions
  • Contribute to workshops and meetings with stakeholders
  • Help develop best practices in decision science within ASML

This is a master's apprentice internship for a minimum of 6 months, at least 4 days per week (minimum 3 days on-site). The start date is as soon as possible.

Your profile

To be suitable for the internship, you:

  • Are enrolled in a master’s degree in business administration, STEM programs, economics, or a related field
  • Have strong analytical and problem-structuring skills
  • Can work with (financial) data modeling and analysis tools (Python and Excel experience is a plus)
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively in an international environment
  • Are proactive, curious, and eager to learn about strategy and technology

Other requirements you need to meet:

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship.
  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. If you’re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter should include your willingness to relocate.
  • If you are a non-EU citizen studying in the Netherlands, your university must be willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
