DevOps Engineer - Internal Identity

You will make the energy grid safer at Alliander. The energy transition needs you as DevOps Engineer - Internal Identity.

As our specialist, you will take full operational responsibility for our internal identity infrastructure. You are critical in ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient identity services for all our enterprise platforms, with a deep focus on Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory environments.

• Providing Level 3 support for our Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory environments, troubleshooting complex issues.
• Automating internal identity operations and workflows using PowerShell and other scripting tools.
• Implementing and supporting internal IAM policies including Conditional Access, MFA, SSO, and role-based access controls.
• Collaborating with ITSM processes (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) for incident, change, and problem management.
• Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing our internal identity infrastructure and its integrations.

You will be the technical owner of our internal identity services, working closely with other DevOps engineers, security specialists, and enterprise architects to support all Alliander colleagues.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and operational tasks.
• Solid understanding of internal (Workforce) Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles.
• Knowledge of Entra ID connect services.
• Familiarity with ITSM frameworks and tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).

Attractive salary and benefits package

Based on a 40-hour working week, you will receive:

• a gross monthly salary of € 4.490 to €6.415 (scale 9);
• annually an Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 18% (full time) or 12.8% (part time) of your gross annual salary. This includes 5.2% ADV (shorter working hours) and 8% holiday allowance. If you do not work full time, you are not entitled to ADV. You can have this budget paid out as extra salary or use it to purchase extra days off, for example. You choose the option that is right for you.
• 24.5 days’ holiday per year, which can be topped up generously from your IKB.
• an end-of-year bonus of 6% of your annual salary in December.
• a sustainable employability (SE) budget of €500 per year. Choose a payment for a sport or hobby, to make your home more sustainable or to reduce your student loan debt with DUO, for example. You decide how your budget is spent.
