Your Challenge:

As a Supplier Performance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring product availability by managing supplier relationships and inventory levels across our manufacturing sites in Best. You will represent the procurement team in cross-functional activities and drive continuous improvement in supply chain performance.

You are responsible for:

  • Supplier Management: Partner across the supply chain to ensure material availability while minimizing inventory and excess & obsolete stock.
  • Operational Guidance: Act as a role model within the Procurement team, providing operational and tactical guidance to meet material availability commitments.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and manage risks and impact gaps related to material quantities across different Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers.
  • Coaching and Development: Coach operational buyers on supply chain optimization and enhance reporting, analytics, and tooling capabilities.
  • Logistics Management: Define and manage the logistics flow of materials between suppliers and factories to minimize costs and inventories while ensuring component availability.
  • Performance Improvements: Drive structural improvements in the supply chain performance of both internal and external suppliers.
  • Capacity Monitoring: Oversee short-term and mid-term capacity execution, addressing gaps and recovery actions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Connect with various stakeholders across planning, production, suppliers, R&D, etc., to ensure material availability.
  • Review Meetings: Lead supplier reviews, including monthly performance reviews (MPR) and Business Review Meetings (BRM).
  • S&OP Integration: Prepare Supply Review and S&OP inputs for your supplier portfolio, confirming supplier flexibility and capacity.

You are a part of:

You will be part of the Operational Material Management (OMM) team within Philips Health Systems. Working closely with Operational Buyers, Supplier Performance Managers, and End-Of-Life Analysts, you will report to the OMM procurement manager and collaborate extensively with Procurement Engineers, Supplier Account Managers, and supplier partners.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in supplier performance management.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Excel with strong analytical skills.
  • Experience in dynamic, highly technological supply chains is preferred.
  • Self-starter with a proactive "make-it-happen" attitude and outcome oriented.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Lean experience is a plus.
