Be part of progress: Internship Opportunity in Electronics Development

Introduction

As an intern in the Electronics Development department, you'll develop a structured and searchable library containing Bills of Materials (BoMs) and detailed wire diagrams (CDWs) used in cable assemblies. This library will serve as a foundation for generating insights and reports using tools such as Spotfire or Power BI. It should be compatible with ASML’s Technical Product Data, Design Documentation, and BoM systems.

Your assignment

In this assignment, you will explore and consolidate data from various sources, define interlinking strategies, and build a consistent, reusable data structure. The outcome will support improved reporting, identification of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and deformable options, and enable volume optimization.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Analyze existing data sources and understand their structure and dependencies.
  • Develop a comprehensive library of BoMs and wire diagrams for cable assemblies.
  • Establish data relationships and mappings between CDWs, QCGs, and QCADs.
  • Manual describing:
  • The basic rules and structure of how the library is built.
  • Guidelines on how the library can be modified, extended, and maintained.
  • Best practices for ensuring data consistency and interoperability with reporting tools.
  • Create dashboards and reports to visualize cable configurations and usage.
  • Provide recommendations for improving data quality, reporting capabilities, and future scalability.

Your profile

To be suitable for the internship, you:

  • Are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Are familiar with Excel and Power BI; basic programming knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative technical environment.
  • Willingness to self-learn tools such as TeamCenter, Capital and ASML specific ones (Cerberus, EEE etc).

This is a vocational/bachelor/master internship for minimum 3-6 months, 4-5 days per week. The start date of this internship is as of February 2026.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
