Requirements

The purpose of this role

You’ll act as a central link between People & Culture, Talent Acquisition, Internal Communications, and Operations. You’ll be part of the People & Culture team, working closely with colleagues in Finance, Operations, and across our teams. Your work ensures Small Giants runs smoothly and stays human-centred.

What you’ll be doing

HR & Admin Support

  • Prepare employee documents (contracts, addenda, offboarding)
  • Maintain and update HR systems and records (e.g. leave, illness, changes)
  • Support financial admin: hours, reimbursements, invoices
  • Help prepare internal reports (headcount, absenteeism, recruitment status)
  • Clearly and professionally communicate internal policies
  • Act as a culture ambassador within the organisation

Talent Acquisition

  • Coordinate recruitment logistics: scheduling, candidate communication, updating our ATS
  • Liaise with external recruiters and hiring partners
  • Keep candidate pipelines structured and up to date

Internal Communications

  • Share clear, timely updates to keep employees informed and engaged
  • Support alignment and transparency across teams

What we’re looking for

You’re organised, people-savvy, and proactive. You bring clarity and calm to fast-paced environments and enjoy switching between hands-on tasks and longer-term improvements.

  • Have 1–3 years of experience in HR, people ops, or a supporting operations/admin role
  • Are comfortable working with systems, documents, and sensitive data
  • Can manage multiple priorities with structure and care
  • Work independently and take initiative
  • Are service-minded, detail-oriented, and solution-driven
  • Have excellent English communication skills (Dutch is a plus, not a must)
  • Are willing to work from the office in Utrecht as often as needed

Bonus if you have experience with:

  • Tools like AFAS, Productive, Otys or Notion
  • Dutch labour law, sickness policies, insurance or pension administration
  • Basic Excel skills
  • Recruitment coordination
