At Life Terra, we firmly believe that universities play a vital role in shaping a sustainable society.

By partnering with Life Terra, your university can take a step further involving your students in real impactful climate action. Empower your institution and its students to make a tangible difference by planting trees, and leaving behind a legacy that matters!

How it works

The process is really simple:

  • Step 1: Get in touch with us and provide all the information needed to arrange the adoption of trees. See form to fill in.

  • Step 2: Once the invoice to adopt the trees is paid, we prepare the QR codes or PDF vouchers to give to each one of your students. This voucher contains a QR code with the specific tree assigned to the student which they can see in their personal Dashboard.

  • Step 3: The University also receives a "Tree Dashboard" with all their adopted trees. Dashboards contain the location of each tree, the CO2 capture and more information about the planting plot.

  • Step 4: all set! Once the vouchers are ready, you can send them to your students and they can start tracking their trees!

What we offer

  • Minimum adoption of 25 trees (€6,- per tree). Note: you can choose the country of preference upon availability.

  • University Tree Dashboard. See example.

  • Individual PDF vouchers for students

If you are interested, please fill out the form below.

Note: Usually, our team get in touch within 5 working days. The whole process takes approximately 3 weeks from when we receive the information. If you have further questions, please get in touch with us at contact@lifeterra.eu.

Inspiring case - Avans University

Sustainability is a priority for Avans and several school initiatives aim to improve the footprint of the institution and its students with the overall objective to become carbon-neutral as soon as possible.

As part of that ambition, Green Office students Lisa Heyman and Nick den Bol of Avans University of Applied Sciences had a big dream: to give a tree as a gift to all graduates and to create a new forest. And they did it!

We wanted to give our fellow students a sense of awareness, and also something that is really lasting. So we went for a tree: the graduation tree.

This initiative provides a unique opportunity for your institution to demonstrate its commitment to sustainability, engage with the community, and create a lasting legacy.

Empower your students to become environmental change-makers, one tree at a time.

Life Terra is a foundation with a mission to enable people to take impactful climate action now. We facilitate tree planting, educate future generations, and develop tree monitoring technology.
