About our Team

The Reaxys Product team needs a high-performing, knowledgeable, and experienced Product Manager who works at the intersection of Machine Learning and Chemistry data within drug discovery. The Product Manager will be a vital player for the future success of Reaxys. This person is expected to be a strategic, hands-on leader with the ability to create robust SaaS-based and data-intensive products needed by a new generation of customers while still servicing existing stakeholders.

About the Role

We seek a Product Manager who will leverage market research and proactively engage with industry segments and new customers.

• Driving predictive retrosynthesis solution product strategy and vision, including the formulation and validation of roadmap requirements and feature delivery
• Partnering and working closely with the Reaxys Technology and Engineering team for product lifecycle management
• Interacting with customers and industry experts, and collaborating closely with Elsevier’s cross-functional teams to develop the requirements, roadmap, design, and execute go-to-market strategies
• Developing go-to-market plans, including sales enablement, product launches, website presence, social media, product demos, webinars, case studies, usage activation, and win-loss analysis
• Listening to customers (internal and external) to identify, plan, and develop new products e.g. working with external partner(s) to enhance predictive retrosynthesis solution by addressing key customer needs in a timely fashion
• Leveraging chemistry and medicinal chemistry data for the development of other reaction-based predictors and ADMET predictors

• Experience as a Product Manager for SaaS products or Information Solutions creating products with subscription models
• Experience of working with pharmaceutical and chemical companies as well as academia
• Possess a Master's in Synthetic Organic Chemistry
• Have a proven track record of success with product strategy, roadmap development, product rollouts/go-to-market strategies (including pricing, packaging, and positioning), and living the "What customers want" philosophy
