We are seeking an experienced IT Procurement Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our IT procurement processes, ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisition of technology assets, software, and services. You will collaborate closely with the IT Operations, Trading Infrastructure, Trading, and Finance teams to support our fast-paced and innovative trading environment.

Your Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective IT procurement strategies aligned with the company’s goals and budget.
  • Manage procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.
  • Monitor and manage IT procurement budgets, ensuring expenditures align with financial plans.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to reduce procurement costs.
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with IT procurement, including supply chain disruptions and vendor reliability.
  • Implement and maintain robust procurement policies and procedures to safeguard company interests and ensure adherence to these policies.
  • Work closely with IT Operations, Trading Infrastructure, Trading, Finance and Legal teams to understand and fulfill procurement needs.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on procurement best practices and supplier selection.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT procurement, preferably within the financial services or high-frequency trading sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in negotiating and managing IT contracts and suppliers.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in procurement software and tools, e.g., Novatus, Workday, Qlik, Rubik.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed procurement decisions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Professional Certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) are a plus.
