We are looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our UK accounts receivable team, to ensure compliance with all accounts receivable activities, including accurate posting, VAT compliance, and sound working capital management.   • Perform credit control activities, securing prompt payment from our customers in line with terms
  • Liaise between the Business Units’ Commercial Teams and Customers to resolve any disputes
  • Issue customer statements and proactively liaise with key customer accounts
  • Post cash receipts from customers (cash book postings)
  • Resolve any credit balances on the accounts
  • Reconcile credit card receipts to appropriate ledgers
  • Act as first-line support for BU sales invoice queries and Customer invoice receipt queries
  • Input changes to the customer master
  • Support the completion of ONS returns for the UK Group
  • Support the delivery of internal and external audit documentation (such as invoice copies, proof of customer receipt etc.)

Do you have what it takes?
  • The ability to deliver to tight timescales and deadlines consistently
  • Excellent day to day planning and organisational skills
  • Dynamism, aptitude for problem solving and teamwork, practicality, reliability, flexibility, and results oriented
  • Exceptional communication skills and interpersonal relations at all levels
  • The ability to engage and influence colleagues to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Sound bookkeeping knowledge

What can you expect from us in return?
  • £27,000 - £29,000 per annum
  • 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
  • 37.5 hours a week, Mon-Fri (we are also open to part-time/ job share applicants)
