Purpose of Role

To be part of the Global Tax team and participate in a wide range of tax planning, corporate income tax, and transfer pricing compliance initiatives. Assist the Regional Tax Manager in effectively overseeing tax compliance and accounting, formulating and implementing regional tax strategies aligned with the global tax strategy, optimizing the tax position and ensuring adherence to country-specific tax regulations in the Asia Pacific region. Under Armour has established a presence in multiple countries in Asia Pacific, including China, Hong Kong, Singapore, India, Japan, Korea, Australia, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Jordan, Taiwan, and Vietnam.

Your Impact

  • Collaborating closely with the accounting team and external tax consultants to ensure accurate filing of corporate income tax returns for our legal entities in the Asia Pacific region
  • Managing US GAAP tax accounting for our Asia Pacific legal entities, including tax provision, cash tax, and return-to-provision calculations
  • Providing support for US International Income Tax reporting and compliance concerning our Asia Pacific legal entities
  • Assisting in the preparation of comprehensive documentation for tax-saving projects in our Asia Pacific legal entities


  • University graduate with a minimum of 3 years of relevant tax-related work experience, preferably in Big 4 accounting firms and/or multinational corporations
  • Practical experience in tax compliance, transfer pricing, and tax planning
  • Proficiency in international tax concepts, including cash repatriation, tax treaties, foreign tax credits, and BEPS 2.0 Pillar Two
  • Knowledge in tax accounting for US GAAP is an advantage
  • Strong research and technical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in both English and Mandarin

Workplace Location

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Hong Kong office.
  • Return to Work Designation: 3days week in-office, the remainder of work week remote.

Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
