Position summary

As an operational algorithm developer, you enjoy solving real-world complex problems with code. You are accountable for the implementation and integration of algorithms that form the foundation of our custom-built full-stack solutions. You get things done, can improvise, and enjoy working at a high pace.

Responsibilities

  • Implement, test, debug, and document algorithms, from classical optimisation to machine learning.
  • Write clean, scalable & efficient code.
  • Participate in code reviews.
  • Collaborate with other developers to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Deliver scope with limited supervision.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with algorithm engineering and code optimisation.
  • Experience with software engineering best practices such as design patterns, code
  • reviews, unit and integration testing, etc.
  • Experience with Python.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Skilled at working at a high pace.

Terms & location

  • This is a permanent role, based in The Netherlands.
  • We offer a one-year contract initially, which, upon successful completion, will be converted to an indefinite contract.
  • Starting salary €52,900/yr - €58,800/yr (after one year)
  • 4% pension contribution
  • Annual personal development budget of €2,000, to be spent as you see fit
