About IS/IT

In fast changing markets, customers worldwide rely on Thales. Thales is a business where brilliant people from all over the world come together to share ideas and inspire each other. In aerospace, transportation, defense, security and space, our architects design innovative solutions that make our tomorrows possible.

Our Thales Netherlands IS/IT team works at the core of the Thales digital transformation. Together with a team of 130+ colleagues divided into 15 – mostly product related – Agile DevOps squads. We provide IS/IT support to our 2500 Dutch colleagues in several Business Lines and functions. We also work closely together with the international IS/IT departments of the Thales Group. Our mission? Providing secure access to Thales information in one click, while feeling proud together. As an innovative, high-tech organization we fully embrace agile principles and strive for excellence by continuous improvement. We do not fear failing, as long as we can learn from it!

IT Engineering Support (ITEngSup) is part of the IS/IT department of Thales Netherlands. The IT Engineering Support chapter (following the Spotify model) consists of 30 enthusiastic IT engineers and consultants divided into three self-managing squads whilst working together closely using Agile methodologies. The chapter consists of systems-, software-, and IT architects, application specialists and DevOps engineers. We collect requirements, validate them against security protocols & design solutions and implement them together with our stakeholders, but also with the other IS/IT squads. We maintain our own products and projects and are involved with the latest IS/IT developments within the Thales Group.
