Data-driven decision making is increasingly crucial, for both Arla Foods and its customers. Internally, we aim to transform consumer, customer and business performance-data into actionable and relevant insights to drive business growth. Externally, through close collaboration with our customers, our goal is to provide the best objective advice to support the growth of their categories.

As the Data & Insights Manager, you will report to the Category Development Manager. Together, you will proactively identify and share relevant insights from the various data sources available at Arla Foods. Working closely with your colleagues in the Customer Development department (consisting of 11 people) and Account Management, you will collaborate to develop effective strategies.

Key responsibilities

  • Continuous monitoring and presenting of key business metrics and performance indicators to identify areas of improvement, potential risks, and emerging trends;
  • Conduct ad-hoc data analysis projects to address specific business questions or challenges;
  • Monitor and review the quality and accuracy of data provided by internal and external data providers;
  • Act as the primary contact person for internal and external data providers, developing and maintaining strong relationships to ensure smooth communication and effective collaboration;
  • Provide guidance and support to internal teams on data analysis and identify opportunities to enhance data analysis capabilities within the organization;
  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and customer development, to turn consumer, customer and business performance data into actionable & relevant insights for business growth;
  • Identify data-driven opportunities to drive further growth, including category development and innovation;
  • Stay up-to-date with trends, emerging technologies and best practices in data analysis and insights generation.

Your profile

You have at least 2 years of experience in data analytics within Trade Marketing/Category Management. You have Bachelor+ level education and are proficient in data analysis tools such as Nielsen and GFK. You have strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights. You are an excellent communicator and presenter, with the ability to convey complex data to a broad audience.
