Job Description:

HPE Financial Services - Technology Renewal Operation, located in Erskine Renfrewshire, is at the heart of HPE’s market-leading Circular Economy strategy. We have over 20 years’ experience in the sustainable management of IT equipment. Our facility is designed to refurbish and remarket preowned equipment. The successful candidate will form part of a compact, agile, and adaptive engineering team working within the manufacturing operation. The role requires an experienced, creative, and self-motivated individual who would enjoy the daily challenge of a fluid environment filled with technology and its associated challenges.

The role is critical to the success of the business, designing end-to-end processes that optimize efficiency while controlling costs. You will become involved in everything from the physical to the systemic. Our challenges continually evolve requiring a positive attitude and growth mindset. Day to day responsibilities...

Support the business in its strategic outcomes in terms of revenue generation, growth, and sustainability

Define, design, document, and implement strong processes, controls, and quality systems in response to new business opportunities

Drive systemic process changes that would improve quality, increase capabilities, and reduce processing costs

Capital and operational expenditure cost modelling

Maintain business required accreditations, supporting internal and external audits as appropriate

Collaborate and communicate with management, internal functions and external customers regarding processes, recording and reporting issues, and providing recommendations for problem resolution where appropriate

Skills & Experience...

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline

Relevant industry experience working within a production environment in an engineering capacity

Development and implementation of manufacturing processes

Attainment of a Six Sigma belt; Black or Green desired (or equivalent, recognised process development methodology)

Knowledge and experience of working with ERP and/or MES applications

ISO standards experience: ISO 9001:2015 / Environmental - ISO 14001: 2015 / Occupational health and safety management - ISO 45001:2018

Demonstrable core MSFT Office skills

Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities

Teamwork: the candidate must be able to fit in well with a team, understand capabilities and priorities while fostering a collaborative environment
