This Sales Manager position within our cruise segment, offers you an unique opportunity to work with the biggest food & beverage brands in a fast-growing and challenging industry. In this world, thousands of passengers are welcomed weekly abroad luxury, state-of-the-art, and innovative ships on routes trough the Caribbean and Mediterranean Sea regions or the Norwegian fjords. During these cruises, a positive ‘guest experience”, is de absolute priority for each cruise line. An outstanding food & beverage offering, is an essential part. Here, you have the crucial position as the link between B&S, leading supplier of various food & beverage products and the customers in this beautiful and challenging industry.

Your responsibilities in this role include:

  • Commercially managing various relationships from our customer base, which can be located anywhere in the world
  • Staying up to date on developments within the cruise market to determine your strategies and apply them during negotiations and meetings with clients
  • Maintaining regular contact with your clients via phone or digital means, as well as visiting them regularly (2 to 3 times per year)
  • Regularly visiting cruise exhibitions and events all over the world
  • Collaborating frequently with your commercial colleagues from both the sales and purchase to determine optimal assortment and suitable offerings during the annual tender season. Additionally, you serve as the link between commercial and logistics.
  • You coordinate the order process and ensure the customer satisfaction

You have a positive no-nonsense attitude and thanks to your organizational skills, you can prioritize and manage your time efficiently to realize this. You are critical of processes, seek digital optimication wherever possible, and you possess strong analytical skills. Along the way, you will face challenges in this role, but your creativity and persistence will help you develop innovative solutions.


  • Have 1 to 5 years of experience in sales within a international B2B environment
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in a commercial field
  • Have excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Proficiently communicate in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Dutch or knowledge of Spanish, French or another language is a plus
  • Experience in FMCG is a plus
  • Knowledge of online sales is a plus

  • A maximum salary of €5000,- in line with your experience, plus a yearly fixed Christmas bonus, a performance dependent bonus and 8% holiday pay
  • Initially, a one-year contract with the prospect of permanent employment
