Trade & Consumer Activation Specialist

We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic to join our team in "Ciudad de México, CDMX, Mexico. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone to make a significant impact in an extraordinary organization.

You will play a key role in ensuring the success of our trade and consumer activation strategies. Your responsibilities will include working closely with different teams to develop and implement effective plans that will strengthen our brand presence and boost sales growth. This position offers the chance to collaborate with a diverse group of professionals and contribute to achieving our high-reaching goals.

Main Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Support the Trade Marketing Manager with key market data (Census, Distributor IMS and Price Tracking reports) collection and coordination as well as the generation of insights to support JTI's Consumer and Trade Activation strategy building.
  • In coordination with the market functions (distributors, local reps and Trade Marketers), IT team and third parties involved (agencies, subcontractors, other suppliers) guarantee the correct administration, function and use of the Commercial Tools available for CDM (Power BI). Support Marketing Manager with key indicators and reports development and updates (Brand Boards, Brand Briefs and Market Profiles).
  • In coordination with Market functions (distributors, local reps and Trade Marketers), Legal and CA teams and the third parties involved (agencies, subcontractors, other suppliers) guarantee the correct compliance (MCF), execution and follow up of all Consumer and Trade activities and materials in line with the Cycle Plan and the allocated budget.
  • Enhance the distributor's field sales force capabilities by providing effective product training, market insights and selling tools, in coordination with the distributors commercial team and in-line with JTI's Commercial Strategy best practices.
  • Coordinate invoicing and service details with third-party vendors' (distributor, agencies, suppliers). Support Finance Manager with the purchase orders, invoicing and payment follow up, as well as maintaining documentation and reporting record of transactions.

Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent experience. Preferably in Marketing/ Business Administration/ Economy/ Industrial Engineer.
  • Demonstrated expertise in devising and implementing effective trade and consumer activation strategies.
  • 2 - 4 year of proven experience in Trade Marketing, Consumer Activation and Sales in FMCG industry, preferably in multinational company.
  • Good understanding of Marketing and Sales processes with a strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to efficiently collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Consistent track record of successfully meeting targets and achieving goals.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
