Our bid team is expanding and you may be the one we are looking for. Every day, as HeadFirst Group's bid team, we are busy putting beautiful and winning texts on paper for various labels of our organisation. For labels such as HeadFirst in Hoofddorp, Staffing MS in Rotterdam and Brussels, Sterksen in Breda, and ProUnity in Brussels. Strong labels that arrange everything related to the hiring of external personnel for clients in both the public and private sector, from recruitment and selection to contracting and payment. As a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or Intermediary and everything in between.

Our team participates in both European tenders and requests for tenders from private parties, receiving support from all corners of our organisation to ensure that our future clients have a clear picture of what we can do for them. And because we as an organisation are growing fast, both nationally and internationally, we want to expand our team.

We are looking for an experienced Bid Manager who works independently and has experience in the field of MSP services and possibly intermediary services. And, because of our further international ambitions, someone who enjoys looking at the international market and is good at writing a comprehensible and distinctive English text. Your activities will be versatile, but we would like to list the most important ones for you:

  • Qualifying potential quotation and tender processes;
  • Going through quotation and tender documentation and formulating questions about it;
  • Consultation with the sales department about the strategy to be followed for a quotation or tender process;
  • Selecting and consulting with any subcontractors; • Gathering input from other departments throughout the HeadFirst Group for bid and tender processes;
  • Making and monitoring schedules of quotation and tendering processes;
  • Chairing kick-off sessions at the start of the tender or tendering process;
  • Setting up the foundation for a winning response to a tender;
  • Writing responds to award criteria, both in English and Dutch;
  • Review answers to award criteria written by others;
  • Internally and externally evaluate bid and tender processes and implement improvements.

You are the one we are looking for if you:

  • Have an HBO diploma with WO working and thinking level;
  • Know very well what the services of a Managed Service Provider in the Staffing Industry entail;
  • Have a few years of experience in putting winning tender texts on paper;
  • Have (international) sales and bid experience;
  • Dare to be critical of yourself and others and do not mince words;
  • Get a lot of energy at the thought that you want to win a customer contract;
  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit and are not afraid to approach people;
  • Don't be put off by being hit with constructive criticism or praise;
  • Are willing to put other things aside when you have deadlines if this is necessary;
  • Are well able to put a text on paper that will knock potential customers back knock them off their feet;
  • Are more than comfortable writing this text in English or Dutch (optional: French).

A test in which you demonstrate your written skills in Dutch and English is part of the selection procedure.
