As a Sales Manager Maritime, you have an unique opportunity to enter the maritime world and FMCG industry and contribute to our successful team. Don’t have knowledge of the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or maritime industry yet? No worries, our team within the Foodservice department maximizes the use of each other’s strengths and therefore will ensure you receive the right guidance and acquire the necessary knowledge. Within this team, everyone contributes to the common goals, and successes are celebrated collectively.

In this role, you will:

  • Take responsibility for a number of countries within our customer base. These countries can be anywhere around the world
  • Stay informed about market developments and apply these strategies during your negotiations
  • Primarily, stay in touch with your customers through phone calls or digital means, while also making regular visits to them (approximately 4 to 5 times a year)
  • Work and collaborate regularly with your commercial colleagues
  • Coordinate order processing and customer satisfaction

  • Have 3 to 5 years of experience in sales within a international B2B environment
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in a commercial field
  • Have excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Proficiently communicate in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Dutch or knowledge of Spanish, French or another language is a plus
  • Experience in FMCG is a plus
  • Knowledge of online sales is a plus

  • A maximum salary of € 4900,- in line with your experience, plus a yearly fixed Christmas bonus, a performance dependent bonus and 8% holiday pay
  • Initially, a one-year contract with the prospect of permanent employment

  • A travel allowance of up to 75 km on single trip travel when working at the office, or an allowance if you’re working remotely (from home)
