Wat neem je mee?

  • A Bachelor Degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation or Mechanical Engineering
  • >2 years of working experience in a similar position/ the field of Mechatronics/Robotics
  • Preferably experience with Robot Brands, such as ABB, FANUC, KUKA e/o YASKAWA
  • You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages. German is an advantage
  • Willing to travel and work abroad

As a Robotics Engineer, your challenge and responsibility are to prepare and translate the customers required functional specifications of the robot and peripheral equipment into concrete robot control programs, within the time frame and quality requirements. You will have full responsibility on the robot part or in projects. This means: 

  • Implementing the offline program that has been supplied by the Simulation Engineer;
  • Simulate whether all requirements are met;
  • Execute preparatory tasks for the transfer/training of our customers;
  • Working closely with your colleagues from Controls, Simulation, and Production;
  • Commissioning and functional testing of the machine at our location in the Netherlands and at customer locations;
  • Optimisation of the cycle time.

You will determine the priorities for this week.11:00You dive back into your project. It is time for commissioning and testing the machine.13:00After lunch break were you had a walk or lunch with your colleagues. You have a weekly project meeting. All the leads of the project team will share their status and what they need for the coming week.15:00Your colleagues are stuck in a project and ask for your expertise. You are naturally acting as an advisor and are already looking forward to fix this challenge together!16:15Time flies! You are going to finalize the day and lock your laptop. With a satisfied feeling you go back to home.
