As a Barclays Programme Management Officer, you will be working closely with one or more Programme teams on ensuring successful delivery of any number of our Change projects. You will play a critical role in providing oversight, guidance and support, thereby ensuring adherence to governance requirements, leading to the successful delivery of Business Outcomes for the project(s). You will have the opportunity to engage in process standardization, simplification, clarification, and automation activities as part of the PMO Community of Practice.

What will you be doing?
Ensuring programme delivery is managed in line with the relevant Policies and Standards, using standard processes and tooling to improve the level
Maintaining and actively managing programme documentation
Providing complete, accurate programme reporting and MI Support Project and/or Programme Managers to manage delivery
Driving best practice in line with Policies and Standards
Pre-empting risks and challenge efficiency
Supporting an environment of effective delivery and has a broad range of business and technical skills
Managing programme financials management, analysis and MI reporting
What we’re looking for:
Previous experience in Project Manager /PMO /Portfolio role
Solid understanding of project /programme management methodologies and governance
Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work with and present to senior stakeholders
Excellent analytical and literacy ability
Skills that will help you in the role:
Experience with project financials tracking, management, and analysis
Experience with programme management tools (e.g. Navigator, Jira, Confluence)
Professional qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, CFA, FRM)
Financial product & business process knowledge
