Internship: Enterprise Portfolio Management (non-thesis)

Job Description

Starting Date: March 2024 (or earlier)

Duration: 6 months

Location: Amsterdam & Eindhoven

Contract hours: 40 h/week

As an Enterprise Portfolio Management Intern at Philips, you will play a pivotal role in the ongoing transformation, collaborating within the Enterprise Portfolio team to optimize processes, drive innovation, and contribute to achieving the company's growth objectives.

Your Role:

  • Contribute to Philips' global portfolio prioritization, emphasizing value and impact, and actively participate in deploying a new organizational structure, processes, and technology across the enterprise.

  • Collaborate closely with the Enterprise Portfolio team, Business units, Regions, and global supporting functions, operating within the central function of "Enterprise Excellence."

  • Accelerate your personal and professional development in a corporate environment, with the opportunity to shape and optimize enterprise-wide processes.

You're the Right Fit If:

  • You are interested in gaining professional experience in the area of business process engineering and project management.

  • You are data-driven with an international business setting understanding, as well as proficient in tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.

  • You are currently enrolled as a student (preferred fields of study: Business, Mechatronics, Project Management, Business Process Engineer, International Business, or related).

  • You possess strong analytical skills, have the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, and a 'can do' mindset to drive process improvements.

In return we offer you:

  • Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata,

  • Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office,

  • Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192,- net,

  • Paid holidays per internship term,

  • The opportunity to buy Philips products at our shop,

  • Hybrid working mode.

Important: please note that in order to be considered for an internship, you need to be registered as a student during the entire internship period. Formal documentation (proof of enrollment) will be requested. Students from outside the EU need to fill in an NUFFIC agreement, which needs to be signed by the student and the university. Please note that the contents of our regular internship assignments are not suitable for professionals (and/or MBA students) with professional work experience.
