TenneT is growing fast to realize its strategic ambitions. We play a leading role in driving the energy transition. We are looking for a passionate Program Manager Risk Management 2 GW at our location Arnhem who will contribute to this and that might be you?

Your contribution to TenneT

  • Alignment and harmonization on risk management principles with internal and external (project) risk management stakeholders and the 2GW Program Office;
  • Leading the facilitation of effective decision-making on strategic, tactical and operational levels based on identified program and project risks, quantitative analyses (cost & schedule) and reports;
  • Driving continual improvement in risk management, for instance through the use of historic risk data, generic risks and lessons learned across the program;
  • Promoting and maintaining a supportive risk culture within management and in project teams;
  • Consulting on risk related topics and facilitating risk assessment workshops across the 2GW program, supporting and challenging project risk management where needed (e.g. quality assurance);
  • Actively participates in thespecialist group Project Risk Management, bringing in 'best practices' andknowledge about (inter)national developments around project risk management within large infrastructure projects, mentoring and guiding of junior risk management colleagues and providing input for further development of project risk management within TenneT.

Your profile and background

  • You have a Universityor higher education degree (FH/H);
  • Extensive (quantitative) risk management experience in large infrastructure programs/projects;
  • You can keep track of the ‘big picture’ and you respond adequately to developments inside and outside TenneT in relation to risk management;
  • You are self-starter and have excellent analytical skills with the ability to structure and organize, coordinating and moderating skills just like expertise in communication, reporting and presenting on various levels in the organization;
  • You are a team-player, pro-active, anexcellent networkerand the living example for ownership, connection and courage and are able to form your own opinion and are open to the opinions of others;
  • You create engagement and ensure knowledge sharing in the organization, while driving continuous improvement and you bring experience in systems engineering and Monte Carlo analysis;
  • You are able and willing to mentor and guide junior risk management colleagues;
  • Fluency in English isrequired, and an additional advanced proficiency in Dutch and/or German is preferred;
  • You are prepared to travel internationally between TenneT locations and project offices (about 10% - 20%).

Additional information

  • The weekly working time is 40 hours
  • NL: Type of contract is indefinite

  • The minimum salary for this grade 9 position is €4369 and the maximum is €8594.
