Based at either our £32m state-of-the-art Global Technology Centre (GTC) in Filton, Bristol or our East Cowes facility on the Isle of Wight reporting into the Functional Centre of Competence Manager - Engineering - Data & Configuration Management, this exciting opportunity will see you responsible for developing, supporting and maintaining Configuration Management (CM) activities for a designated project or projects in accordance with GKN procedures and alignment to customer and regulatory body requirements; ensuring GKN Policies and procedures remain current with industry best practice.
In order to be successful in this role you must demonstrate a Safety First mindset with no allowance for error, so your meticulous attention to detail is therefore vital.
You need to be a self-motivated individual, coupled with being a confident communicator, as this role will see you interacting with a variety of key personnel across the business, delivering technical data to a wide audience.
This role would suit either a recent graduate or someone who has recently completed their HND Engineering Apprenticeship, or alternatively someone with a few years' experience within the industry and is looking to take their career to the next level.
