Nice to have you here, we know you’re busy, so we’ll keep it short. As an intern, you will be part of the communication capability of Accenture Song. This capability comprises three different practices: Brand & Content, Media, and Engagement & Activation. Together, we merge creativity and data-driven marketing with distinctive business consultancy. Each practice plays a vital role in enhancing impactful communications and creating unique experiences for our clients.

  • Team
  • There are 3 teams that make up the Communications capability. These include Brand, Media, and Engagement & Activation. Although you will be part of the Communication capability, you may be aligned with one of the teams depending on your thesis topic.
  • Daily tasks
  • As an intern within the communication capability, your main job is writing your thesis about an interesting and relevant topic within the domain of Digital Marketing. Besides your thesis, you will have the opportunity to gain experience within the consulting domain. For instance, through supporting in workshops, client facing projects and internal initiatives.
  • Research
  • Your research topic should be linked to branding, media, communication, and/or customer insights. We will work together to define the specific topic. It’s important to think of a topic that interests you!
  • Interested?
  • If you are interested, please provide us with a motivational letter where you propose a research topic. You can upload your motivation letter together with your resume in our Workday system.

The Communications team is comprised on 3 sub-teams

  • Brand
  • This team develops brand and communication strategies. In the brand team, you will collaborate with our account colleagues (who guide the process and manage our clients) and our creatives (who translate the strategy into tangible, inspiring brand and communication ideas). Additionally, you will participate in design sprints to bring the strategies to life and create matching propositions for our clients.
  • Media
  • The media team is dedicated to helping clients utilize media as a driver for growth. We provide best-in-class media services and aim to be a valued and strategic digital media partner for our clients in SEA, Social, and Programmatic Advertising. Your involvement in this team will allow you to explore the dynamic world of digital (paid) media and contribute to delivering impactful campaigns.
  • Engagement & Activation:
  • This team specializes in creating personalized omni-channel customer journeys for top brands. They analyze data to generate insights for personalized marketing strategies and campaigns. The team focuses on optimizing marketing efforts using automation technology. Their expertise lies in aligning technology with business objectives, enhancing customer experiences, and driving growth through targeted marketing strategies.

here's what you'll need

  • You are currently enrolled as a bachelor (HBO/WO) or master student in a Dutch educational institution throughout the entire duration of the internship, pursuing a degree in Brand, Media, Communications, Digital Marketing, Business Management or a related field.
  • You have a background in marketing, communication, business, innovation, or creative studies.
  • You are a proactive self-starter and able to navigate within a flexible working environment.
  • You have a hands-on mentality.
  • Fluent in Dutch (spoken and written) and comfortable with English (spoken and written).
  • You have an affinity with brands, communications, and/or creative technological developments.
