About the job

As a Sales Trader you will be part of a team that strives to make the renewable energy market more transparent and liquid. In this role you will enter the global commodity market with a specific focus on the Norwegian market. You will build your own client portfolio and it is your job to provide clients with innovative and responsible solutions. You will report to your direct team lead, an experienced Sales Trader.

Main responsibilities

  • Building your own client portfolio through actively approaching potential leads (Cold Calling);
  • Monitor markets and follow financial news and developments in order to become the main source of information to your clients;
  • Identify trade opportunities and devise their execution;
  • Understand the underlying products being traded and keep up to date with knowledge of new products and procedures;
  • Provide daily pricing to market actors;
  • Responsible for your own profit (PnL) target to achieve.

About you

  • You have a completed Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or other related field;
  • 1 - 3 years experience in B2B sales, business development or other relevant client-facing roles;
  • Knowledge on renewable energy commodities;
  • Experience in cold calling;
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, a commercial attitude and a proactive, entrepreneurial spirit that enables you to develop business in new directions;
  • Native Norwegian and fully proficient in English;
  • Dedicated to achieve high targets and work in a fast-paced environment.
