About the team

Our Power & Infrastructure Business Line provides high added value activities to the Global Business Units (GBUs) of ENGIE, the power generation sector, grid operators, and the industry in Europe. This covers applied research and on-the-field technical expertise.

We are looking for a Delivery Lead to lead our Electrical Assets delivery activities into the future!

Are you an experienced & empowering project manager, aiming to contribute to the success of your Business Line and the overall performance of ENGIE Laborelec?

What you’ll be doing

Your responsibilities as Delivery Lead Electrical Assets:

  • You report to the Head of Delivery of your Business Line
  • You are in charge of a Delivery portfolio made of Electrical Asset Management services in your Delivery domain. You assure amongst other things that projects & contracts are well managed for execution, that the customer expectations are clear & aligned, and that we can invoice in a timely manner
  • On top, you will also coordinate end-to-end our Delivery activities for Hydropower
  • You ensure safety, quality and customer satisfaction
  • You construct and keep up-to-date a technology vision and roadmap for your Delivery domain and you interact with Sales and experts to fuel the product strategy
  • You contribute to the Business Line strategy and its overall performance
  • You contribute to offering and value proposals in strong collaboration with the Sales & Operational Teams
  • You empower the people involved in your Delivery domain, by leading, motivating and coaching them. You challenge and improve the project management of our projects, resulting in an improved organization and alignment (internally & externally), as well as a lower delivery cost
  • You ensure the overall performance and customer satisfaction (‘on scope, on budget, on time’, via monitoring & reporting of the delivery activities, and setting the right priorities)
  • You supervise the decision for invoicing to customers/partners/sub-contractors, and make decisions for variation orders
  • You contribute to the annual strategic plan’s definition and its implementation via a roadmap in the field of Electrical Asset Services (related to asset management, condition monitoring, troubleshooting, etc.)
  • You validate the quality of the deliverables and watch over the quality of project management
  • You contribute to the definition of the staffing needs and, as such, you are a strategic partner in the sourcing & selection process, in collaboration with the HR Teams

  • Hold a master's degree in engineering, with experience in the field of Electrical Assets (i.e. Generators, Transformers, Cables, Switchgear, etc.)
  • Have experience and skills in project management and a proven track record of successful project completion. You have good communication skills and are not afraid to talk to and involve an audience.
  • Have passion for the energy transition linked to Power Transmission & Distribution (HV, MV, LV) and electrical power generation, combined with experience and understanding with the relevant technologies
  • Have experience in leading technical teams to achieve customer satisfaction and deliver technical products & services, in a pragmatic way
  • Have a “hands-on” and “get-it-done” mindset
  • You are customer-focused, reliable and result-driven. Ideally, you have experience with Grid operators and/or Hydropower facilities.
  • Operate comfortably in a changing technical and business environment and can adapt yourself to the needs of the project and the client
  • Build strong and trusting sustainable relationships and create your networks
  • Value feedback & learning culture and walk the talk
  • Feel comfortable with challenging the status quo, guiding change and have good resilience
  • Combine a good mastery of French and English. An other language is an asset.
