Your role at Tony's

We are on the hunt for an Operations intern to join our Operations team based in Amsterdam! As an Operations Intern at Tony's Chocolonely, you'll be an integral part of our mission to create the best customer experience possible. Your role will go beyond just fulfilling orders; you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of Tony's warehousing, distribution, and logistics network.

Your responsibilities will include helping us maintain optimal inventory levels at our primary stock location and web shop fulfillment hubs, ensuring that every order is delivered on time and in full. You'll be at the forefront of our commitment to excellence in customer contact, ensuring that every interaction reflects the joy and quality synonymous with Tony's Chocolonely.

Here’s what you’ll do:

• Help create the best customer contact Tony’s can have.
• Help enable smooth operation of Tony’s warehousing, distribution and logistics network.
• Support in managing inventory at our primary stock location and web shop fulfilment hubs.
• Support in making sure all orders are being delivered on time and in full.
• But that’s not all! Based on the areas you’d like to develop in, you’ll work on one or more of these exciting tasks:
• Improving on our 3PL planning and replenishment process
• Learning and improving our weekly supply planning process
• Documenting our processes for professional excellence

  The ideal candidate:

  • You’re studying for an HBO/university degree in a Logistics or Supply Chain direction and are looking to gain practical experience in a real work environment within a driven Operations team.

  • You are fluent in both English and Dutch.
  • You are analytical and detail oriented.
  • Confidence in initiating and maintaining professional conversations with diverse colleagues.
  • Believe wholeheartedly in Tony’s mission. You live our core values: outspoken, willful, entrepreneurial and makes you smile.

    Here are the hard facts:

    • Starting on February 5th, you'll be part of our dynamic and passionate team until July 31st.

    • You’ll be living in the Netherlands for the duration of the internship.

    • We are all about being more in person than apart; this means we offer flexibility but see each other in our Amsterdam office on average 3 days a week. More is fine!

      • As an intern, you'll have the opportunity to help build Tony's Chocolonely and make a real difference in the world.

      • You'll have 14 vacation days over the six-month period, and we'll provide you with a 500 Euros / month internship allowance for a full-time internship.

      • Our office in Amsterdam is pretty sweet - you'll enjoy a super tasty lunch and plenty of snacks. We know how to work hard, but we also know how to have fun. And of course, as much chocolate as you can carry
