What will you be doing?

This position plays a vital role in developing and executing local marketing plans aimed at recruiting candidates and building / enhancing employer brand in the Netherlands. The Recruitment Marketing Specialist (Employer Branding Specialist) acts as the link between both Talent Acquisition and Marketing & Communications and works together linking the skills and capabilities that each team needs to deliver and to optimize the employer brand. The ideal candidate is an independent thinker with excellent time management skills and the ability to move projects and tasks through to completion.


  • Effectively share and communicate our culture, mission, and working environment internally and externally to increase internal engagement and attract external talent.

  • Plan, develop and deploy targeted marketing campaigns using a structured and project-based approach.

  • Manage Employer Value Proposition (EVP) and additional content across career channels.

  • Create a best-in-class Candidate Experience for potential and future hires.

  • Create local content that will drive brand engagement using a range of difference mediums.

  • Work with local markets to ensure content is fit for the region, but is also consistent with brand guidelines and tone of voice.

  • Develop joint marketing programs with other / global marketing functions to ensure fully integrated campaigns.

  • Analyze and report on investment and campaign results on an ongoing basis to provide feedback to stakeholders.

  • Partner with talent acquisition and sourcing to understand talent markets and segments and how best to attract talent to Vanderlande.

  • Take an active role in Candidate Relationship Management (CRM). Creating and managing our talent pool communications strategy.

  • Fulfill an SME role for reviewing / creating engaging job advertisements and external templates.

  • Design and plan recruitment events, both physical and online.

  • Build a Brand Ambassador Network within the organization.

  • Communicate results and best practices across the organization.

What do we ask from you?

  • A bachelor/ master’s degree ideally within Business related specialism and 5+ years’ experience working within Employer Branding, Recruitment Marketing or Digital Agency.

  • In-depth knowledge of employer branding strategies and recruitment marketing.

  • Proven track record of building, managing and optimizing multi-channel strategic marketing and sourcing campaigns.

  • Excellent written and verbal Dutch and English communication skills and an ability to influence others.

  • Ability to multitask, working on several projects at once with careful attention to detail.

  • Creative eye or background in branding and able to unlock the human story behind the data.

  • Passion for metrics, using data to connect the dots between marketing and outcomes.

  • Able to be detail-oriented while drive process and managing to goals.

  • Fast learner with a collaborative working style.

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 3.600 to € 4.600 grossper month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you evenhave the possibility to grow outside this scale.
