About Us:Tropikali Festival is an annual celebration of music, culture, and diversity at the NDSM Wharf in Amsterdam. As a LGBTQIA+ festival, we’re dedicated to creating a vibrant and inclusive environment where everyone can feel free to express themselves. We’re looking for a Social Media Intern to join our team and help us amplify our message, connect with our community, and spread the Tropikali vibes. In 2024, Tropikali Festival is doubling the fun with a very special first-weekender: Saturday, June 22nd, and Sunday, June 23rd.

What’s expected from you?

• You’re a student, enrolled in a relevant course (HBO or University)
• Assist in the creation and scheduling of social media content across various platforms.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop a social media calendar and execute campaigns.
• Monitor social media channels, engage with our audience, and respond to inquiries. Keep up with social media trends and propose creative ideas to enhance our online presence.
• Create and edit TikTok content and other multimedia assets, with a focus on animations and visual storytelling.
• Assist in the design of eye-catching visuals that align with our festival’s unique identity.
• Be part of the LGBTQIA+ community, bringing a valuable perspective to our team and ensuring that our messaging resonates with our audience.

Requirements:

• Strong passion for and proficiency in TikTok and other social media platforms
• Knowledge of animation and video editing tools.
• A creative eye for design and aesthetics.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Enthusiasm for the mission and values of Tropikali Festival.
