Learning and Development Specialist

As we’re planning to install 1.000.000 heat pumps by around 2030 we're seeking a highly motivated and ambitious person that’s not afraid to make her or his hands dirty and make a real dent in the climate change challenge that we are already facing. Are you ready to rise to the challenge?

As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for setting up Quatt Academy, selecting training software and developing our L&D policy. Moreover, you will design and deliver innovative learning programs to support our employees' professional development and growth, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.

What you will do:

As Learning & Development Specialist you will:

• Develop and implement the Learning & Development strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
• Set up Quatt Academy, our internal training academy, including the selection of training software and tools.
• Design and deliver innovative learning and training programs that address the needs of different employee groups, spanning from our field operations team to our office-based colleagues. These programs should cover a spectrum of learning stages, ranging from onboarding to leadership development.
• Work with team leads, managers and other employees to identify individual and team learning needs and develop tailored learning solutions.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of our learning programs and continuously improve them based on feedback and results.
• Do whatever is needed to make our employees happy and turn Quatt into a huge success!

Job requirements

Must have:

• 2+ years of proven experience in developing and delivering L&D programs.
• Experience with learning management systems and training software.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• The motivation and proactiveness to set up Quatt Academy from scratch.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, employing an approach that follows the MVP methodology.
• Proficiency (written and verbal) in English and preferably Dutch.
• A passion for employee development and the ability to create a culture of continuous learning.

About Quatt:

Quatt is an ambitious start-up that was founded in 2021 by two entrepreneurs and brothers from the Netherlands. Our goal is to accelerate the transition to sustainable heating in the Netherlands and abroad. Our first product is a smart, hybrid heat pump for the Dutch market.

The Dutch government is strongly incentivizing 8 million homeowners to get rid of natural gas and start heating sustainably within the next few decades. Unfortunately, the current pace of heat pump installations is far too low. Therefore, Quatt is improving the overall customer experience, adding smart control software, simplifying the installation job and, last but not least, greatly enhancing the aesthetics. By doing so, we want to increase adoption by an order of magnitude.

We are developing a highly advanced control system based on several AI technologies, like Machine learning and Deep learning. This system enables us to operate our heat pumps, in conjunction with already installed natural gas heaters, in the most cost- or energy-efficient way, at any given day. We estimate this can reduce heating costs by about 20%. By combining this with D2C sales & installation, Quatt is aiming to reach a payback time of 3-4 years; and thus a very quick uplift in sales.
