As the Plant QA Manager GPB, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer satisfaction and quality compliance at the GPB. Your mission is to ensure that our factory consistently meets and surpasses industrial standards such as GMP, ISO, and HACCP. You will be responsible for overseeing internal and external audits and inspections, supporting high-quality performance within the organization, and contributing to the development and implementation of our compliance strategy.

Your key responsibilities

  • Quality Plan: Develop and implement a comprehensive quality plan, including a strong quality culture and an internal and external quality audit plan.
  • Systems and Compliance: Ensure that all relevant systems, such as the Quality Management System, FSSC22000, and cGMP, are in place and compliant with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Product Release: Provide final approval for the release of products to the market and raw materials for manufacturing purposes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of learning from deviations and translate deficiencies found during audits into corrective actions, monitoring their execution and escalation when necessary.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Establish and maintain a network with external stakeholders and represent the site on quality matters, putting the customer first.
  • GPB Contribution: Participate in the GPB management team, contributing to plant goals and participating in broader workstreams beyond quality.
  • Team Development: Shape and develop the GPB Quality team to adapt and improve for the future.

You bring

  • Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree in food science, food engineering, chemistry, quality management, or related fields.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the food/pharma/feed business, Flavor, or Ingredients Industry, with line management experience being a plus.
  • Language: Proficiency in English and Dutch; knowledge of other languages is an asset.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership skills, excellent communication, change management, and organizational behavior management skills.
  • Quality Management: Strong experience in implementing systematic Quality Management Systems.
  • Problem-Solving: Decisive and pragmatic with a track record of effective problem-solving.
  • Customer Focus: An unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction.
