Job model – Hybrid (min 50% on site and 50% from home)

As a Functional Specialist OTC, you will support our global business processes and applications within our Improve Supply Chain Team for dsm-firmenich’s Food & Beverages business unit. This will require you to work with end-users and managers at various levels in different Regions, Corporate departments, and Service Units. The support consists of participating in projects, driving continuous improvement initiatives, supporting running business and maintaining business rules for master data. You will work with dsm-firmenich’s main ERP application (SAP) and other connected systems (eg customer portal), to ensure that business processes will be modeled correctly in our standard application.

Your key responsibilities

Ensure that the supported business processes and business applications including IT-tools are running well, in cooperation with relevant departments,

dsm-firmenich service units, Corporate departments such as IT and 3rd party software suppliers.

Support improvement projects e.g., by gathering requirements, process-improvement, writing test-scripts, testing, supporting project implementation, training, and user support.

If applicable, request changes/improvements of the

dsm-firmenich Standard ICT applications.

Ensure standardization and harmonization globally, on Business unit level -, of processes and tools.

Coach, train, coordinate and evaluate the relevant group of Regional Key Users (RKUs); a

ct as filter between RKU’s and 2nd line support teams (either at corporate IT or external suppliers).

Ensure documentation (processes, work instructions, global training material) is up to date; s

ecure the different ICT security aspects, including user rights management.

You bring

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Fluency in Chinese language and English
  • Extensive process, business, and system knowledge in the field of Order to Cash (OTC). Good experience with SAP (SD) is mandatory. Experience beyond OTC (eg SAP Planning, Quality or Warehousing) is an absolute advantage.
  • Knowledge of (Master-)Data structures. You have a wealth of knowledge on how data are stored and managed and connected in SAP (tables, mappings, business rules). You are able to extract data-reports and run analyses.
  • You are experienced in the migration of businesses into an existing SAP system, defining mapping rules (rules that describe how data-elements from system A need to be translated to system B) and creating the load files (files that load the data from A in B).
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Modelling. Good experience with setting-up new plants or warehouses as part of the Enterprise Model of a Business Unit and the implications for Finance and the Goods Flow.
  • SAP Certificate (Application Associate)
  • Prefer relevant secondary certifications (for example in Supply Chain Management)
  • Experience in the process or food-industry
  • Analytical, critical thinking, detail-oriented, deductive reasoning, practical/ pragmatic approach, and have problem-solving abilities
  • Have the ability to zoom out, see issues at aggregated levels and to balance pro’s and con’s of alternative solutions
  • Have excellent planning & organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
  • S4HANA experience is much appreciated
  • Ability to travel (for projects)
