Job title – Traditional e-commerce Lead

Location – Shanghai, China

China is the largest e-commerce market globally, and for iHealth business, China is the second largest market, and we have a lot of potential and space to grow the business in China. This position is to develop and execute sales & trade marketing strategies for traditional e-commerce online platforms (e.g. Tmall, JD, etc.) to meet revenue and growth targets.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & channel marketing strategy formulation: Develop sales & trade MKT strategies for traditional e-commerce development, e.g., consumer to target, products portfolio to focus or innovate and yearly in-site activities to launch; In collaboration with MKT team to have synergy on campaigns
  • Channel growth & budget planning: Formulate yearly Tmall/JD group growth target based on business development needs with budget allocation and monthly KPI breakdown (e.g., sales value, hero SKU sales volume, traffic buy ROI, channel P&L/profitability). Mainly focus on Tmall and JD group (including Tmall flagship store, TDI, Ali-Health, JD platform store), but also needs to cover other channels, e.g., PDD and B2C retailers
  • Distributor management: Collaborate with C&L provider/master distributor to negotiate and finalize contracts and agreements with e-commerce platform partners (if needed); Align on sell in target with distributors and be responsible for sell in performance management and distributor performance evaluation
  • Customer relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at Alibaba Group and JD.com; set up regular engagement meetings with platform, fostering strategic collaboration on business initiatives, e.g., new product launch
  • Channel performance oversee: Be responsible for overall channel performance and identify operational efficiency optimization opportunities/Data analysis and market trends: Stay tuned on industry best practices and emerging trends to maintain a competitive edge
  • Team resources management: Orchestra overall team development and talents cultivation with clear definition of R&R, optimized business flow, coaching and performance review/Internal team collaboration: Drive cross-functional collaboration with supply chain, operations, and product development teams to ensure efficient order fulfillment and customer satisfaction

You bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field, communication skills in English is nice to have
  • Experienced in working for some international brands in areas including distribution management, channel strategy development and execution. Experiences in industries such as FMGC, dietary supplements, infant formula are preferred
  • Good understanding of operational model at the traditional e-commerce platforms, e.g. Tmall, JD, etc. Good network with the buyers of relevant categories including mum & baby, nutritional supplements is nice to have
  • Good understanding of value chain of e-commerce business, i.e. value step-up from brands to distributors and TPs to platform to consumers
  • Strong negotiation skill, learning agility and data analytic skill.
  • High integrity and team management experience
