B2B Integration Specialist

We are a leading company at the forefront of digital transformation. Based in Rotterdam, Netherlands, we are seeking a B2B Integration Specialist EMEA to join our integration team. Reporting to the Group Integration Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing, supporting, and enhancing integrations that connect IMCD to our business partners, with a focus on the EMEA region.

Your primary responsibilities:

In this exciting role, you will:

  • Onboard new B2B/EDI connections with IMCD’s business partners, with a particular focus on EMEA and global projects.
  • Collaborate closely with B2B leads in the Americas and APAC regions, providing support as needed.
  • Maintain and improve existing connections to ensure the stability and uptime of our B2B/EDI integrations.
  • Monitor connections and swiftly resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Provide support to internal stakeholders, business partners, and the IT team.
  • Offer guidance, documentation, and clear communication on integrations with third parties.

What are we looking for?

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 3+ years of experience working with integration technologies, including X12, EDIFACT, XML, EDI, APIs.
  • Experience with an integration platform such as MuleSoft, Tibco, Talend.
  • Familiarity with an MFT tool like Cleo, Axway.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling you to convey technical information to non-technical audiences effectively.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, as you will be coordinating multiple ongoing projects with various stakeholders.
  • A team-player approach, collaborating with both internal and external staff to discuss solutions and contribute ideas for improvement.
  • The right to work in the Netherlands. Dutch or EU work permit is essential and fluent in English, both spoken and written is a must.
  • Experience working in an agile (scrum) environment, familiarity with a cloud-native IT landscape and/or experience in the chemical industry/distribution is an advantage.
