Your role at 5miles

5miles is on the lookout for an innovative Marketing Lead to steer our B2B marketing endeavors towards new horizons. Your mission? To orchestrate and galvanize our marketing team, driving data-driven and experimental strategies that propel us into the future.

This role requires a minimum availability of 32 hours per week.

Your responsibilities

As Marketing lead, you will have the autonomy to shape and prioritize our marketing efforts while spearheading four core marketing functions in collaboration with our existing list of ideas:

  • Expanding Content and Enhancing Digital Experiences: Elevate our content across all digital channels and customer touchpoints to create seamless and engaging user experiences along the customer journey
  • Lead Generation Strategy: Develop and execute robust B2B lead generation strategies – together with the Enterprise Account Executive – to drive a continuous influx of qualified leads, nurturing them into loyal customers.
  • Brand Support: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide consistent branding materials, ensuring unified messaging that amplifies customer and member engagement
  • Ownership and Management: Build the foundations of the marketing activities and -on the back of our future growth- have the opportunity to hire and lead the Marketing team
  • The Head of Product, Head of Training Content and Customer Success Manager will be your partners, ensuring that you’ll have all the essential insights to effectively communicate with our community and the broader world. Additionally, you'll have access to a network of freelance copywriters, editors, and designers who will assist you in crafting compelling materials.

    In summary, you'll have the opportunity to shape the marketing landscape by working on a wide array of projects, spanning the strategic, tactical and operational spectrum. These projects include definining the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and Buyer Personas, crafting Go-to-Market strategy, developing compelling case studies, driving product marketing efforts, enhancing our website and managing events.

    • Data-Driven & Creative: You leverage data for decisions and combine it with creative thinking
    • Strong Communication: You have strong presentation and communication skills
    • Content Creation and Branding: You oversee content development and branding efforts, ensuring consistency in messaging and the creation of compelling narratives
    • Adaptable Self-Starter: You have a self-starter approach to work and the ability to adapt and thrive in rapidly changing circumstances and switch between strategy and execution on a daily basis. You are detail-oriented, organised, flexible, responsible and self-motivated
    • Tech-Savvy: You are proficient in marketing technology, including automation tools and CRM systems. Experience with Excel and PowerPoint is a strong plus

    For this role, we require fluency in verbal and written Dutch and English as this is necessary to communicate with our customers and our members. Verbal and written experience in German is a nice to have. Experience in building and leading a dynamic marketing team is a nice to have.
