Your department

PGGM manages the pensions of workers and retirees in the Healthcare and Welfare sector. The Asset Management unit is responsible for investing the pension assets. In this unit, the Treasury & Liquidity Management department is responsible for liquidity, cash and collateral management and thus plays a central role within the Asset Management organisation. The department reports to the Chief Fiduciary Investments, who in turn is part of the Asset Management Directorate. The team consists of five enthusiastic Treasury professionals, all of whom look forward to familiarizing you with all the ins and outs of the profession. The team has a strong drive to be at the forefront of the latest developments in the market, and has on many occasions proven to be a true pioneer.

Jouw afdeling binnen PGGM

As a Junior Investment Manager Treasury you are jointly responsible for cash management, liquidity and collateral management. This means that you and the others in the team make sure that there is enough money to meet all short-term obligations. You and the team also invest the available cash in various money market instruments, such as deposits, reverse repos, money market funds and short-term bonds. Analysing available data and acting on that basis plays an ever more important role in treasury activities. The increasingly central position of the team in the organization means that close collaboration with various other departments is an important part of your role.

A selection of your tasks:

• You employ the latest programming tools to give an extra impulse to working with data;
• Together with your treasury colleagues you manage the liquid assets, invest in money market instruments and optimize collateral positions;
• You maintain relationships with banks and counterparties;
• You contribute to the continuous improvement of internal and external processes.
