Purpose:
Partnering with adidas Supply Chain functions and DCs to create On Time Availability and enable On Time and In Full delivery to our Wholesale and Direct to Consumer channels. Managing and planning the flow of goods from ports across Europe to our European Distributions Centers (EDCs).
Responsible for Fulfillment Planning for the EDC network. Drive continuous process improvements within Europe SCM. This position will enable capacity planning to enable strong operational planning with the aim of supporting achievement of Market Europe commercial expectations, DC Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and cost targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Steer the flow of goods at destination (in transit to receipt into the EDCs and forwarders, e.g. Damco Bremen and ITG Munich) by reporting on open POs in transit and prioritizing for intake according to priority, allocation coverage and distribution center capacity
- Produce and validate short-medium term (1-9 months) shipping forecasts for the EDCs aligned with the European Demand Plan and Business Plan
- Present in regular meetings with DC Operations and share availability projections, outlooks on inbound- and outbound performance, priorities and expectations
- Analyze inbound- forecasts in line with DC intake/inventory/outbound capacities and be able to challenge and recommend solutions to manage peak months (game plan) and critical situations
- Monitor the flow of order volumes towards the EDC forecasts and drive actions to achieve forecast
- Review the current month forecast for the EDC network on a regular basis and revise shipping expectations in a timely manner to enable EDCs to adjust operational plans
- Secure smooth cross-functional collaboration with all colleagues and external parties on all interfaces and inform market stakeholders on supply or transportation issues impacting availability
- Manage special business processes (e.g. Never Out Of Stock, Launch Management, Known Back Orders, etc.) with commercial teams
- Ensure systems reflect correct information and enable an accurate availability (ATP) picture at all times
- Participate in projects representing the Fulfillment Center Planning requirements
- Act as key tester for all system release changes, keep test-scripts updated and document all processes & procedures in the Order Fulfillment Manual

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- College or university degree or equivalent, preferably with a focus in supply chain management is a plus but not a mandatory requirement.
- Minimum two years of work experience in supply chain management
- Good SAP skills and 3rd Party applications
- Competent user in Microsoft Office applications
- Fluent in English (oral and in writing)
- Preferably another European Language
