You’ll be part of a collaborative team of 7 UX Researchers responsible for providing user insights to steer product direction and design. You’ll be researching and shaping how to offer the best mobility experiences for a growing and diverse user group (e.g. car drivers, delivery drivers, two-wheel drivers).

The impact you'll make

  • Align with key stakeholders to identify areas that require research.
  • Self-initiate your research: strong strategic thinking and innovation skills required.
  • Design, plan, and perform research (qualitative and/or quantitative).
  • Collaborate with other UX researchers on different projects to gain expertise in the methods/tools you’ll need for your research.
  • Distill insights from the research, connecting the quantitative and the qualitative, and propose actionable recommendations for practical improvements.
  • Find the best ways to enable stakeholders to act upon findings.
  • Think holistically about the end-to-end TomTom experience.
  • Participate in UXR team rituals, as well as Product Organization meetings.

What you'll need

  • You should be enrolled as a full-time student for the entire duration of the internship
  • You have an EU citizenship or enrolment in a Dutch university due to work permit regulations
  • You are available to start 1st of September
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, collaborative tools such as Miro and Figma, survey tools, and usability testing tools.
  • Strong conceptual, verbal, and visual communication skills; working fluency in English is expected.
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative user research methods, such as usability testing, contextual interviewing, observational studies, surveys, usage analytics, etc.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: align, collaborate, engage, convince
  • Solid time-management and organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks or projects.

What we offer

  • Being part of a collaborative and inclusive global culture – you'll be encouraged to grow, and develop bold and innovative solutions, all while connecting with TomTom’ers from around the world
  • 800 Euros month (gross salary based on full-time work)
  • Six-month internship contract
  • Joining TomTom Amsterdam’s intern community, where you’ll get to meet fellow interns and attend fun events, workshops, learning opportunities, and more
  • Plus, there will be additional benefits tailored to your work location
