As a category and account management intern, you will have the opportunity to further develop your commercial and analytical skills.

This department within Unilever is responsible for development of different categories (Beauty & Personal Care, Home Care, Foods & Refreshments). During your internship you will be in contact with the various retailers regarding shelf trajectories, promo analyses, but also strategic cooperation.

Furthermore, this team is an internal spider in the web between Marketing and Sales and responsible for good alignment and strong plans on the respective category, with a view to long-term growth (innovations, promo strategy, channel strategy, growth plans etc).

In conclusion, a very varied internship, where your work might be reflected in the store!

The most common work activities include:

  • Analysing data (for example forecasting, budgets, sales figures, etc.) and translating this into reports for internal and external use;
  • Thinking about and developing sales strategies;
  • Advising the client based on data analysis and maintaining client relationships.

What we ask:

  • Availability from February/March 2023 for (5 to) 6 months for a minimum of 32 hours per week;
  • You are following a Bachelor's (3rd or 4th year) or a master’s program for example in the direction of business administration or commercial economics;
  • Your command of the Dutch or English language is excellent.
  • Commercial work experience and analytical skills are a plus.
