(Junior) Consultant Business Engineering

As Business Engineers, we help clients from various sectors (Retail, Health, Banking and Insurance & Pensions) to implement business changes in a digital world. We do this by building a bridge between business and IT. By working closely with fellow consultants, designers, data scientists and developers from other IG&H teams, we help the customer from strategy to the implementation of business platforms and IT solutions.

What do you do as a Business Engineer?

• You will get in touch with all aspects of business engineering, such as: process design, system design, system architecture, data migration and testing.
• You will translate business requirements into IT requirements,build the IT solution (e.g. by writing user stories)
• You will work closely with other (international) IG&H colleagues from different teams (consultants, developers, UX/UI designers and data scientists)
• You work on projects in various sectors (Retail, Health, Banking and Insurance & Pensions)
• You are often involved in long term projects (+6 months)

• Solve complex puzzles and reason logically
• Dive deep into the content
• Collaborate with the customer and its various stakeholders
• Work together in multidisciplinary IG&H teams

Our Business Engineering team

We are a team of 30 ambitious colleagues (one of the largest within IG&H and we are proud of that). Our team consists of a mix of starters and highly experienced business engineers. As a starter you get the chance to learn a lot from the expertise within the team and you will be guided and supported by an experienced colleague during your projects. As business engineers, we like to dive deep into the content and understand problems in detail. As a new BE-er you will end up in a warm bath. Being yourself is what we value and what makes you fit in with us. For us it is important to have a good connection with each other, we realize this by organizing weekly check in moments, monthly team meetings and quarterly team building events.

What you bring:

• MSc degree (Béta)
• Recently graduated or experience within a similar field
• Can quickly master complex matter and experience with modelling
• You are social, result oriented and proactive
• You have a top sport mentality, we are looking for talent that continuously wants to be better.
