Innovate new (AI based) algorithms for MR reconstruction and provide improvements in image quality, performance or enabling new clinical applications.

Your role:

  • In this role you are responsible to innovate, specify, prototype, engineer, test and document (AI based) MR reconstruction algorithms.
  • As part of a global team you will bring clinical MR applications from research stage through advanced development into products in the market by delivering product quality software and documentation.
  • This involves extension and optimization of the existing Philips MR software with emphasis on clinical functionality and usability, operating in a strong multi-functional interaction across all business disciplines, like hardware, software, system integration and verification, marketing and product application.
  • Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to maintain contacts with clinical sites and other groups within Philips to exchange and advance knowledge in the application of MRI.
  • You will contribute to conferences and file patent disclosures, and over time have opportunities to expand your skills into other areas of MR development.

You're the right fit if:

  • PhD / Master's Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of MR physics and MR imaging techniques.
  • Experience with MRI reconstruction algorithms or other physics based reconstruction techniques.
  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning and deep learning is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with inverse problem statement and solving large systems of equations.
  • Experience with relevant programming languages, such as C++ and Python.
  • Creative, dynamic and innovative, with a strong drive to deliver high quality results for our customers.
