Are you energized by forecasting and analyzing macro-economic developments and indicators like agricultural GDP, food market growth, and food system stress testing at a global scale? Then Rabobank is looking for you.
As agricultural economist, you will work in one of the most dynamic international departments of Rabobank: RaboResearch. You understand macro-economic research and economic analysis in the context of food and agribusiness. You are passionate about quantitative analysis and translating outcomes into key indicators and insights to identify risks and opportunities for the bank. You are motivated to go in deep, for example to develop methodologies to disentangle agricultural sector outcomes and allocate these to various agricultural sub-sectors. You are passionate about the complexity and diversity of the global food system.

Growing enough food to feed 10 billion people in 2050 in a just and sustainable way is perhaps the key challenge of the 21st century.
