The Global Transformation & Change Finance team financially oversees and supports global transformation initiatives. It advises both the Group COO/CTO, the Transformation Lead Committee, and MBB on the performance of the global transformation at both programme and portfolio level.

We are looking for a skilled and driven strategic finance professional to help provide financial control and strategic advice on ING’s transformation portfolio. You will operate in the transformation domain with key stakeholders across the entire bank. This will require the ability to challenge and connect at various levels within the organisation. Your work will directly impact senior executive management, enabling strategic and tactical decision-making.

The team

The COO and CTO Finance team aims to support the Global COO/CTO organisation to make robust business decisions based on analysis and advice. The COO/CTO organisation is at the core of delivering ING’s strategy to build a leading digital bank. As approximately 40% of ING’s cost base is in Tech and Operations, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference. The COO and CTO Finance team is a small department, allowing exposure to senior managers across COO/CTO. The team continuously looks for smarter ways of working to focus time where it has the most impact: advising the business.

How to succeed

  • University (Bachelor’s/Master’s) degree
  • At least 3+ years of professional working experience in a relevant position such as Finance Business Partner, Business Controller, or comparable
  • Knowledge of banking operations and operational excellence
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with all levels of management
  • Being proactive and curious will help you succeed in this dynamic environment
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written)
