Searching for accountancy jobs?

Accountancy consists of the measurement, processing and communication of financial information about business or other entities. As an accountant, you are responsible for the correct way to measure and store this financial information according to the regulations (e.g. IFRS). The profession of an accountant also means that you will serve and audit external companies, so you will build up your network of clients. On the other hand, you can also decide to work as an accountant within a larger company. There are many accountancy firms in the Netherlands and in the United Kingdom, both large and small, so there is enough to choose from as a graduate.

Before you do, apply for an internship in accounting or for a placement or graduate scheme in accountancy, audit & risk or assurance. After that, you can easily decide on which specialisation you would want to pursue in your accounting job. There are even inhouse days or events in accounting available to meet your future employer and colleagues.
