ROLE SUMMARY

The Technical Analyst Senior Associate will provide systems analysis for critical customer-facing solutions delivered by Pfizer. The incumbent will be responsible for performing operations data analysis, creating operational reports, documenting technical procedures and\or requirements and contributing to operational and project-related efforts as assigned. They will also be responsible for creation of communications materials (documents, presentation materials, etc.) in support of product, project and\or operational efforts.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Applies strong knowledge and understanding of technical analysis to execute systems operations and support processes within Pfizer and Pfizer BT
  • Applies skills and knowledge to contribute to efforts through creation of procedural and\or requirements documentation
  • Identify and address issues to support leads and\or project workstream leads
  • Analyze and summarize operational data, identifying trends or areas for improvement
  • Work with business users to answer queries and\or document unmet needs
  • Acts as a technical resources within the team and contributes to the completion of project tasks, and organizing work to meet project task deadlines
  • Gather, analyze, document and communicate business and technical requirements
  • Perform business process mapping and analysis
  • Document and transfer knowledge to others as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years experience in a systems related discipline
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
  • BA or BS degree or equivalent experience, preferably in a data science, computer science, software development or engineering related discipline

  • Line management experience in a global organization with demonstrated career development and coaching expertise, including performance management, succession planning and new hire planning

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimal travel may be required. Ability to meet via WebEx with team members in other offices and\or regions during off-hours as needed.
  • Business Technology is a 7x24x365 endeavor. This role may require physical or virtual participation on a weekend, holiday, or after normal business hours
