Job description: Software Project Manager

As a software project manager at TBA, you will be working on software implementation projects aiming at making complex port operations simple to manage. We believe that simplicity lies at the heart of performance of container and bulk terminals. At TBA, we clearly distinguish ourselves from other firms, by applying state-of-the-art tools such as simulation and emulation.

You will be working together with a team of highly experienced IT professionals that work on the development and on the testing of the product. You are responsible for monitoring time lines, budgets, etc, but we also expect you to engage in technical discussions with your team members and challenge them on the chosen solutions.

You will be the main point of contact towards our clients to deal with the day-to-day project operations. As TBA’s representative, we and our clients expect you to live by TBA’s values of honesty, commitment, togetherness and success for the customer.

You will be working with various software products from our portfolio. Most products are operational applications i.e. mission-critical for our clients. Implementation trajectories vary from several months to over 1 year.

Our clients include all major terminal operators worldwide and many local port operators. There is a strong international flavor to the job and travelling is involved from time to time.

Our ideal candidate for the position of Software Project Manager

  • Academic degree in a relevant education with strong analytical skills
  • Minimal 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Passionate about IT, automation and logistics
  • Critical, assertive and independent attitude
  • Excellent skills in English language
  • Willingness to travel
