Each and every Rolls-Royce Motor Cars experience has to reflect our brand and create an intimate understanding and passion for our innovative products. That is where you come in. To handle the important role of promoting our iconic vehicles to the world, our team is currently looking for a Global Product Communications Manager.

You will be responsible for positively communicating all product related information to the world’s media including, print, electronic, social and online. From conceiving, planning and managing outstanding Rolls-Royce appropriate international events for global media, VIPs and opinion-makers to conceptualizing and drafting brand appropriate Press materials/collateral, and fluent, compelling speeches for senior executives to deliver.

To achieve this, you will manage multiple agencies, and work closely with the regional Product Communications teams to ensure they are coached and nurtured effectively. Responsible for the worldwide product communications budget, you will monitor and control expenditure across agencies and the Product teams, ensuring that all communications and events are delivered within budget, making optimum use of available resource. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the Global Press Fleet to meet requirements, and will work closely with various internal managers in particular, marketing, brand and product leads, to ensure a consistent message is conveyed internally as well as externally.

Qualifications and Experience

You will have:

  • A degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Extensive PR experience, with an automotive and/or luxury brand background.
  • Experience in disciplinary leadership, with project management and budget and/or capacity responsibility.
  • An ability to deal with opinion makers at all levels.
  • Extensive understanding of international media relations.
  • Journalism experience – either freelance or in-house.
  • Exemplary writing and presenting skills, including published work.
  • International experience is desirable.
  • Customer relations experience is desirable.
  • Operative and strategic/conceptual experience is strongly desirable.
