We are seeking a new addition to the Public Affairs Team at Atos, who will work as part of the UK&I Strategy and Communications function?

Are you interested in the UK political environment and want to support the delivery of Public Affairs campaigns?

This role focuses on the development of trade association relationships and execution of communications plans, for example via project management of Public Affairs campaigns and work streams, policy research, copywriting and editing for internal and external communications, events support and promotion of thought leadership. This is an exciting environment with opportunities for wide engagement across the organisation and beyond.

This a GCM3 role based in our central London office in Midcity Place. Occasional travel and attendance at external events outside business hours may be required.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Support relationships with key trade associations and facilitate engagement between Atos and external partners
  • Own and run a comprehensive calendar of engagement opportunities available via our trade association memberships, highlighting them to the relevant stakeholders and supporting attendance and provision of feedback
  • Collect and analyse data, aiding the development of Atos’ external engagement strategy
  • Own and maintain stakeholder maps of roles and areas of interest within Atos’ public and private sector accounts
  • Develop, deliver and maintain a mechanism for recording and tracking communication with key political stakeholders
  • Own certain elements of campaigns, ensuring timely delivery
  • Carry out research pieces into key fields of interest, including published reports or speeches, areas of policy or political opinion
  • Attend appropriate meetings and events, reporting back on key themes, promote the Atos key messages
  • Provide management reporting on public affairs activities as required
  • Support the Head of Public Affairs in arranging key partner interventions and developing collateral to be used in political messaging
  • Provide holiday cover for the Senior Public Affairs Analyst

  • Ability to drive progress and meet deadlines
  • Evidence of strong writing skills
  • Experience in research and ability to distil key themes
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence and manage partners
  • Good attention to detail

Skills we’d like:

  • Knowledge of online communications channels
  • Competence in the use of Microsoft Office software suite for basic data analysis and presentation
