Digital (Key) Account Manager

We are looking for a Digital (Key) Account Manager in the Netherlands, who is ready for a new challenge in a fast-growing organization. We are looking for someone who has experience with online media and prefer someone who has worked in the advertising industry. It’s a plus if you have been working with children / young people as a target group.

It is your responsibility to act as the primary business contact for the customer, while ensuring customer satisfaction at every stage. Build strong relationships through proactive account management, including regular meetings, networks, telephone and email have to establish contact. You will be working in an international organization and you report directly to the Country Manager Benelux.

Main responsibilities are:

  • To achieve agreed performance and sales targets
  • Proactive to seek new business and additional revenue streams
  • Accurate updating the CRM system with details of all customer contacts
  • Creating media offerings with all media agencies
  • Develop and maintain good and effective working relationships with all contacts
  • Development and maintenance of an appropriate pipeline of opportunities to meet short- and medium-term corporate plans
  • Full understanding of customer requirements and media agencies.
  • Creating media proposals
  • You feel comfortable to do cold acquisitions
  • Attending media events and networking receptions

Features and capabilities:

  • Business Focused (online marketing / media and children / youth oriented)
  • Delivering Results
  • Sales and negotiation skills, including new Enterprise Development and build new relationships
  • Proactive and persistent

Qualifications and professional experience:

  • Master degree or at least 1 year experience in the online advertising industry
  • Proven sales experience with demonstrable successes
  • Experience in dealing with media agencies and advertiser DMUs
  • Industry-based experience
